How People Work

I don’t know even where to start! Chronologically:

• Born in Korea and moved to California when I was 1
• Grew up in good ol’ Cupertino, CA
• Had a great time at UC Berkeley and studied EECS (electrical engineering and computer science)
• Wanted to transition out of programming and luckily got a job at Intuit in a rotational program to try an array of jobs like programming (again), marketing, product management, and strategy
• Now working in the corporate strategy group at Intuit
• My important people: parents, younger sister, gf, dog (named puppy), my friends whom I’ve met from living all arond the Bay Area (Cupertino, Berkeley, Mountain View, SF)

Personal development background

• Been reading self-help books since high school (no shame!)
• Drove a project where we interviewed ~40 Intuit leaders about their lives … heard first-hand tons of life insights
• Qualified to be a Myers Briggs practitioner and a new member of BAAPT
• Will be attending professional coaching school at New Ventures West in SF in Mar 07
• Piloting a few peer coaching trios focused accelerating self-awareness
